Everything you need to know before you build your bracket.
How an entry works
Pick exactly 12 unique FBS teams and rank them seed 1 through seed 12.
Seeds 1–4 receive first-round byes, exactly like the actual CFP format.
From there, pick a winner for every matchup through the national championship: four first-round winners, four quarterfinal winners, two semifinal winners, and one champion.
You can save and edit your entry as many times as you like before the deadline. After the deadline, entries lock and everyone's brackets become visible.
One entry is allowed per email address.
Scoring
Scoring rewards which teams you predicted would reach each round — not whether you called the exact matchup. Points are cumulative: a team that goes all the way earns every stage below, too.

A correctly predicted national champion earns 5 + 5 + 10 + 20 + 40 = 80 points for that one team. A team you picked to reach the championship that instead loses in the semifinal still earns 5 + 5 + 10 = 20points — you're scored on what you predicted, capped by what actually happened.
A team you picked that doesn't make the official playoff earns zero points. A team that makes the real playoff but wasn't on your list also earns you zero — exact seeding and exact matchups don't add bonus points.
Visibility
Before the deadline, you can only see your own bracket — plus how many people have submitted so far.
Once entries lock, every participant's bracket and the leaderboard become visible to everyone signed in. Email addresses are never shown publicly — only display names.
